My family love Chicken Parmesan and easy Italian Recipes, but I don’t often have a lot of time in the kitchen. I mean, Chicken Parmesan is a lot of work if you are at soccer practice and running errands all night.

I decided to cook it in my crock pot. Yes… My crock pot!

Crock pot Chicken Parmesan was born!

Now don’t panic, you are not going to have soggy chicken. I promise.

We love this Chicken Parmesan Crock Pot recipe!

If you are in the market for a new crockpot, thisone is my favorite. I use this all the time and it’s great.

My favorite feature is that you can lock the lid down. This is awesome for when you need to take the crockpot somewhere.

I often use the slow cooker to take dishes to potluck events and this feature is amazing! There areseveral others on sale here.

Another favorite is thisprogrammable crock potfor when I am am not at home all day. I love coming home to a nice meal ready and waiting!

I also like to usecrock pot liners to make clean up a breeze. These are worth every penny and save a ton of time.

Ingredients

  • Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • Marinara Sauce
  • Italian Seasoned Panko Bread Crumbs
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Egg
  • Whole Milk
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

How to Make Crock pot Chicken Parmesan Recipe:

In a shallow bowl, stir together the bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

In a separate shallow bowl, whisk together the milk and egg.

Dip each of the chicken breasts in the egg mixture and then coat the chicken breasts with the bread crumb mixture. Making sure that the entire chicken breast is coated with the bread crumb mixture. Continue this process until all the chicken breasts are coated.

Spread some marinara sauce into the bottom of the crock pot making sure to cover the bottom of the crock pot.

Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot on top of the sauce into a single layer.

Top with 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese. Then top with the remaining marinara sauce.

Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit).

Top the chicken with the remaining mozzarella cheese. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.

It really is that easy to make! We normally serve this over spaghetti noodles.
