Thanks to his eighth studio album For All The Dogs, he extends several of his Hot 100 achievements.

Every Drake release brings its share of Billboard chart history, and his new album For All the Dogs is no different.

All 23 songs from the LP chart on the Billboard Hot 100, helping him extend many of his chart records. He becomes the first act to reach at least 300 total chart hits.

“First Person Shooter,” featuring J. Cole, debuts at No. 1 on the Hot 100. It becomes Drake’s 13th leader, tying him with Michael Jackson for the most among solo male artists. The only artists with more No. 1 songs are The Beatles (20), Mariah Carey (19) and Rihanna (14).

After Drake, the rappers with the most No. 1 songs are Cardi B, Diddy, Eminem and Ludacris, with five apiece.

It’s worth noting that, as streaming has become more prominent in recent years, certain acts have been able to achieve impressive Hot 100 feats after releasing high-profile albums. The model contrasts with prior decades, when acts generally promoted one single at a time in the physical-only marketplace and on radio. That shift in consumption helps explain why artists have been able to increase their total number of career entries and top 10s over short spans in recent years.
