Ozone productionGotta be careful with this "baby"! I have a UV lamp, so I know smell of Ozone production with it's smell. So I limit my runs to 15 Minutes at a time per room. Plugged my new Clarifion Device across the 20 ft. room. Within 5 minutes I felt "light headed and "dizzy". Just got up in time with the aid of my "cane" and reached the device. Pulled it from the socket and as soon as I could sprayed cold water on my face. Close to passing out for sure. I knew as previous R@D Tech this was not supposed to happen. Suggest you ask MFG. Retest Ozone output of devices. Respectfully R Conrad Retired Sheriff's Officer

So far, so good,The air smells much cleaner, it’s very quiet; am light sleeper so that was important to me. My eyes are no longer dry. I have only used this for a couple of weeks; so I haven’t cleaned it yet . The blue light lets you know that it is working.

Amazing resultsI was sick and tired of buying refills for our air refreshers in the house and after reading reviews decided to give these a try. Easy to use, Easy to install NOT so easy to get customer serviceBottom line, I have purchased these for the past 3-4 years. It PAYS to get the warranty because if you buy it from this company where you are reading this review- you will get a 'hot potato' response should something be wrong with your device. Having been the owner of 6 or 7 of these- I opted to purchase directly from the company ( better accountability). It is easy to install, very easy to use and I have baseboard heating that comes up from a crawl space where I have LOTS of dust. Freshens the air, minimizes odors. I stuck with the product because *when* you get a device that works, it DOES work great. But only for 10 months to a year or so. Definitely check the device and your walls every 2-3 weeks for dark dust around the device and any melting. I am in the habit of unplugging when I go away for more than a weekend. As a precaution because yes, it can be hazardous. My rating is for a WORKING device. The 3 that I purchased that DIDN'T work were a night mare - no customer service to speak of. This company will tell you that they 'can't do anything ' about the product and its warranty is short. The actual company is a little better and will make the attempt to replace if you contact them within the warranty period. Do *not* take it a part, sparce innards and you wouldn't know what to do with them outside of a lab - wipe off with a micro fiber cloth when it gets dark dust on it. When the blue light stops working, or gets dull...its dead. Time for a new one. To avoid the blue light from keeping you awake...put it on a wall outside of your sight or sleep with a sheet over your eyes. Not sure what else you can do. The light tells you how and if it is working. Device emits NO sound and doesn't seem to bother other electronics. ( AM/FM Radio, Streaming TV, Cell phone) - Will purchase again .

Deadly For 2 year with upper respiratory problemsThe Clarion worked very well in making the air in my grand daughter’s room cleaner but deadly for her upper respiratory issues. Her lips began to turn a faded purplish dark color like she wasn’t getting oxygen. When I unplugged and removed it from her room her lips began to return to normal after a few days. I must return this item for safety reasons unfortunately.

I have two cats. One tends to pee outside the litter box when she gets nervous. Even if we clean the spot immediately, there seems to be a residual smell especially when its humid or raining. I saw the advertisem*nt for the Clarifion air cleaners and although I was skeptical of products advertised on the internet, I decided to try it. I received the boxes within days and plugged them in and was surprised that within 24 hours I realized the smell was gone and the air seemed cleaner. I would recommend this product for anyone that has lingering scents in their house. I also noticed that cooking smells also seemed to dissipate quickly too
